Allow me to share my beauty journey with you. It all began in 2018 when I was halfway through my degree at university. After experiencing the magic of eyelash extensions for the first time, I was instantly inspired to enrol in a course to turn it into a little side hustle. Initially, my vision was to provide lash services on weekends or after my regular job.

​

However, this journey was far from smooth. The eyelash extension course I initially enrolled in left a noticeable gap in providing the comprehensive guidance necessary for success. Despite these challenges, I was determined to excel in this field. To bridge the knowledge gap, I immersed myself in a wealth of invaluable resources. My dedication led me to meticulously explore blogs, forums, and the helpful insights generously shared by seasoned experts in the field. My relentless pursuit of knowledge was driven by the desire to acquire every fragment of information, with a particular focus on the most innovative techniques that had not only demonstrated promise in theory but had also stood the test of real-world applications. At times, my journey involved scouring numerous sources to extract a single piece of information. I was collecting fragments of knowledge from every corner of the internet to assemble my own treasure trove of information, shaping it into a unique reservoir of wisdom tailored to myself. I also actively engaged with diverse Facebook lash groups, whose members hailed from around the world, generously sharing their insights, tips, tricks, and feedback. Along this learning path, I also had the unwavering support of my sisters and friends, who graciously volunteered their eyes allowing me to practise my skills on their eyelashes (for which I am eternally grateful, though, in hindsight, slightly mortified by their trust in me wielding sharp tweezers and adhesive near their eyes!).

Over the next two years, I transitioned from full-time university to part-time study, simultaneously working part-time, and taking on the occasional client for lash extensions. It was a slow and steady process, with just one or two clients at a time, and not always consistently.

Upon graduating from university two years later, I had accumulated enough clients to transform my small lash extension business into a full-time venture. I made the decision not to pursue a job in my field of study, and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. 

 

Around 18 months ago, I embarked on a new adventure by completing an ombre brow tattooing course with the talented Ashlee Kate in her Fremantle studio. This opened up a new realm of possibilities for me.

Following the successful completion of my ombre brow tattooing course, numerous clients (both new and my regulars) enquired about additional services like brow waxing, which I regretfully didn't offer at the time. Recognizing the demand and realising it made perfect sense, both to my clients and myself, I made the decision to take a step back and enrol in a comprehensive course covering a range of brow services. This exciting expansion includes offerings such as brow lamination, brow waxing, and hybrid brow dye, all of which I am eager to introduce in the coming months.
